Kenneth Roberts
Novelist
An American writer of historical novels, he is best known for Northwest Passage, Arundel, and Rabble in Arms. He posthumously received a Pulitzer Prize Special Citation for his body of literature.
He graduated from Cornell University and began his literary career as a journalist for the Saturday Evening Post.
He often wrote about the state of Maine and its terrain.
He was born in Kennebunk, Maine, and he married Anna Roberts.
He and William Hanley both studied at Cornell University.
