Ken Khachigian

Perhaps most their as American President Ronald Reagan's primary speechwriter, Khachigian also penned speeches for President Nixon and went on to advise Republican candidates Fred Thompson, John McCain, and Bob Dole during their respective U.S. presidential campaigns.
After earning an honors degree in political science from the University of California, Santa Barbara, he received his law degree from Columbia University.
He became a partner at an Orange County, California law firm called Brownstein Hyatt Farber Schreck.
He grew up in Visalia, California, in a family of Armenian heritage. His wife, Meredith Khachigian, was a three-time Chairwoman of the University of California's Board of Regents.
Before joining President Nixon's speech writing staff, Khachigian worked as an aide to U.S. Federal Reserve Chairman Alan Greenspan.
