Track and field star who specializes in the 100-meter hurdles and competed in her first Olympic games in 2012 in London, taking home the bronze medal in the 100-meter hurdles.
She attended Hampton University, where she was a two-time All-American in track and field.
She was a USATF Outdoor National Champion.
In 1997, her mother tragically died in a car accident.
She competed in the same 2012 Olympics that featured fellow American Allyson Felix, who won three gold medals.
