Defender who won an Olympic gold medal with the U.S. women's soccer team in 2012 as well as World Cup championships with the team in 2015 and 2019.
She switched from forward to outside back to secure a spot on the U.S. team and picked up three assists in the 2012 Olympic Qualifying tournament in Canada.
She earned her second Algarve Cup in the Portuguese Invitational Tournament in 2013, just two years after her first.
She was born in Fayetteville, Georgia, where she grew up with a brother named Jerry and a sister named Erin.
Paddy Barnes was her teammate at the 2012 Olympics.
