Keith Harris
Ventriloquist
British ventriloquist with puppets named Orville the Duck and Cuddles the Monkey who starred on his own show, The Keith Harris Show, from 1982 to 1990. He released an album called At The End of The Rainbow in 1983 which peaked at #92 on the UK Albums Chart.
He began creating ventriloquism characters as a teenager. He hosted a show called The Black and White Minstrel Show before being given his own show called Cuddles and Company.
He had a UK Top 10 single called "Orville's Song."
His father owned a chemist shop, and both parents were variety performers.
He refused to appear in the second series of the Ricky Gervais television creation Extras.
