She first appeared in the season five episode of Dance Moms "West Coast Strikes Back."
In the Dance Moms episode "West Coast Strikes Back," JoJo performed a solo in her honor because she was suffering from colon cancer at the time.
JoJo's mother, Jessalyn, is her daughter. She has another daughter named Tessa.
Social media star Jayden Siwa is her grandson.
