Sportscaster known for her work with the NBC Sports Group, where she has been part of the coverage of NHL Live, Football Night in America, and Notre Dame college football. In 2014 alone, she covered the Winter Olympics, Stanley Cup Playoffs and Super Bowl XLIX.
She was born in Morristown, New Jersey and participated in a variety of sports as a high school student, including softball and basketball.
She was an Academic All-American as a member of the track and cross country teams at Rutgers University.
She was born to Sheila and Richard Tappen and raised with her sister Amanda.
She ran track with future Olympian Julie Culley at Rutgers.
