Rose to fame as the second Lady of the United States as the wife of Vice President Mike Pence. She formerly served as the First Lady of Indiana during her husband's term as governor between 2013 and 2017.
She received both her bachelor's and master's degrees from Butler University.
She worked as a long-time schoolteacher in Indiana and Virginia. She provided illustrations for her daughter Charlotte's 2018 children's book Marlon Bundo's A Day in the Life of the Vice President.
She and her husband have three children named Charlotte, Michael and Audrey.
She succeeded Jill Biden as the second lady of the United States when her husband took office in 2017.
