Karen Marie Moning
Novelist
Novelist who is best known for her Highlander and Fever series of novels.
She attended Purdue University, and graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in society and law. She then worked as a bartender and insurance specialist before embarking on her writing career.
In 2007, she published the first book, Darkfever, of the Fever fantasy series. The series went on to place #1 atop the New York Times Best Sellers list for its 5th installment, Shadowfever.
She was born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio. Her parents are Anthony and Janet Moning.
She and fellow novelist Jane Porter have both won a RITA Award for their novels.
