Karen Disher

American story board artist and film director who designed the main characters of the MTV animated series Daria. She also worked on animated films such as Ice Age: The Meltdown and Robots, after signing with Blue Sky Studios in 2005.
She graduated from the Tisch School of the Arts and joined MTV shortly after her graduation.
She was a creative consultant for the video game Daria's Inferno in 2000.
She married the supervisor of computer graphics for MTV Networks, Robert Todd Partington, in 2001.
She worked as a story board artist on the 2008 animated film Horton Hears a Who!, starring Jim Carrey.
