Perhaps most well known for her role as Princess Isabella Maria Lucia Elizabetta of Valencia in the ABC musical fairytale series Galavant, she is also recognized for her work in the BBC's Waterloo Road and in the action movie The Scorpion King 2: Rise of a Warrior.
After training at London, England's Guildford School of Acting, she made her professional stage debut in a West End production of the musical Mamma Mia!
From 2011 to 2012, she portrayed Alexia in the popular British children's television show Pixelface. Also a singer, she released singles titled "It's Me (You're Talking To)" and "Hypnotize."
Born of Chinese, Jewish, and Indian descent, she spent her earliest days in Shillong, India, and the bulk of her childhood in Canada. Her marriage to Swedish musician Carl Ryden began in 2013.
Early in her career, she co-starred with James McAvoy and Preeya Kalidas in the 2002 UK feature film Bollywood Queen.
