Karen Clark-Sheard

Gospel singer who has won four Grammy Awards. After being a member of The Clark Sisters, she began a successful solo career with the debut release Finally Karen.
She sang in church with her family.
Sheard's second album, Second Chance, was inspired after a surgery accident that left her with a 2% survival chance.
She married John Drew Sheard in 1984 and they had two children. One of her daughters is contemporary gospel singer Kierra Sheard.
She sang with Twinkie Clark in The Clark Sisters.
