Singer-songwriter and former child actress known primarily for being the lead singer of Japanese pop group Every Little Thing. She is also a former member of the children's group The Kuro Buta All-Stars.
Although she made music as a child, she didn't decide to become a singer professionally until she was in high school.
She recorded her first solo single in November 1993.
She is a native of Tokyo, Japan.
She shares a March 24 birthday with Toni Romiti, Park Bom and Mina.
