She studied Korean language and literature while attending Pusan National University.
In 2021, she was the recipient of the Best New Actress award at the Wildflower Film Awards for her work in Lucky Chan-sil.
She was born in Busan, South Korea.
Both she and Heo Sung-tae were cast on Squid Game.
