She was born in Philadelphia and completed high school at Fort Meade.
She received a nomination for Best Group at the 2010 BET Awards as a member of Diddy Dirty Money.
She has a son named Meshach with Tony Vick.
She got her start in the music industry writing songs for other artists, including "Moodswings (To Come at Me Like That)" for Charlotte Church.
