Bobsledder
Canadian bobsledder who has dominated the competition by winning gold medals in the two-woman event at the 2010 and 2014 Winter Olympics. In 2014, she received the Lou Marsh Award as the best Canadian athlete of the year.
She was an alpine ski racer as a teenager but retired from the sport after breaking both of her legs.
She became the first female bobsledder to win back-to-back Olympic gold medals and was her country's flagbearer at the Games' closing ceremonies in 2014.
She was previously married to former Olympic bobsledder Dan Humphries.
She has won two Olympic gold medals alongside bobsled partner Heather Moyse.
