Aussie soap star best recognized for her role as Roo Stewart in Home and Away during the late 1980s. She later earned roles in All Saints, The Surgeon, Tangle, and The Time of Our Lives.
An actor even as a child, she began her career in stage productions of shows like the Sound of Music. Her breakout role was as Anna Goanna in Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome.
In 2006, she won Best Actress at the Mar del Plata International Film Festival for her role in Look Both Ways.
She and fellow actor Jack Finsterer have three children, Nina, Max, and Josef.
In 1997, she joined the late Heath Ledger in the film Blackrock.
