First and third baseman who was a 12th-round pick of the Seattle Mariners in 2013. He's the brother of MLB players Kyle and Corey Seager.
He played college baseball at the University of North Carolina, Charlotte, where he was the Atlantic Ten Co-Conference Player of the Year as a junior.
Like his brothers, he played at Northwest Cabarrus High School, where he had a .480 batting average as a senior. He also played varsity basketball.
He was born to Jody and Jeff Seager in Charlotte, North Carolina.
Kris Bryant was the second overall pick in the 2013 MLB Draft.
