Jurgis Dobkevicius
Engineer
Lithuanian aviator and aircraft designer who became known for his aircraft designs, including the Dobi-I and Dobi-II.
He was a volunteer of Lithuanian Army and military pilot of the Lithuanian Air Force.
He died testing his own construction airplane, the Dobi-III.
His parents raised him in Saint Petersburg.
He and Alberto Santos Dumont were both well known aviators.
