Creator of the Mexican-American radio and television personality Don Cheto and the host of El Show de Don Cheto found on Channel 62 in Los Angeles. He could also be heard on the radio station East Los FM in the video game Grand Theft Auto V.
He graduated from El Monte High School. He worked in a factory where he folded children's pajamas.
He based his their Don Cheto character on a man he knew from La Sauceda. He worked as an intern at La Que Buena.
He is an immigrant from a Michoacán farm town. He arrived in the United States in 1996. His father started a strawberry jam business.
As Don Cheto, he released a music video parody of Psy's "Gangnam Style" which featured cameos from Ana Bárbara and Jenni Rivera.
