Soccer Coach
Soccer coach who led Egyptian club Al Ahly to a Super Cup and CAF Confederation Cup win in 2014. He spent 2002-2010 with Spanish side Villareal's B squad, who he led to a promotion to the Segunda Division for the club's first time ever.
He began his soccer managing career at age 24. He began coaching with El Puig.
He led the Moroccan club Raja Casablanca to the Moroccan Throne Cup victory in 2017. He coached Real Betis to a top finish during the 2013-2014 season in Spain's Segunda Division.
He was originally born and raised in Valencia, Spain.
He and Enes Unal have both earned fame for their work with Villareal CF.
