Mother of stage actor Jahi Di'Allo Winston, best known for playing Young Simba in Broadway's The Lion King.
Her son joined the cast of The Lion King at the age of ten in December 2014.
Her son told her at the age of five he would move to New York to be on Broadway.
She and her son have been based in Atlanta, Georgia.
Her son was on AMC's Feed the Beast alongside actor David Schwimmer.
