Football coach who won the AAC Championship in 2018 as the head coach for the University of Central Florida Knights. He is the head coaching position for the University of Tennessee Volunteers.
He played high school football at Central High School in Aberdeen, South Dakota. He began his college football career for Weber State University before later transferring.
He led the University of Oklahoma Sooners to a BCS National championship during his senior year as starting quarterback in 2000. He was also the Heisman Trophy runner-up, AP Player of the Year, and a unanimous first-team All-American.
He and his wife Dawn have two children named Jace and Hannah. He has a sister named Andrea.
He accepted his first coaching job as a graduate assistant for his former head coach Bob Stoops at Oklahoma in 2004.
