Known by the ring name Bronson Matthews, he has made his mark in the WWE developmental territory NXT. In 2015, he won the reality competition series WWE Tough Enough's 6th season, from which he earned a 1-year contract with the company.
He earned his degree in exercise science from Colorado State University - Pueblo, where he also played collegiate football for the ThunderWolves. He then earned a try-out with the Denver Broncos in April 2015.
He debuted on the NXT brand as Bronson Matthews on December 3, 2015. He trained with the brand for three months prior to his debut.
He has one daughter from a past relationship.
He appeared during the 6th season of WWE's Tough Enough alongside Amanda Saccomanno, who finished as the runner-up.
