Professional pitcher that was drafted by the New York Mets during the third round of the 2006 MLB Draft. He was a member of the Chicago Cubs team that won the World Series championship in 2016. He was acquired by the Seattle Mariners via trade on July 27, 2021.
He began his professional career playing for the Mets' rookie affiliate team the Brooklyn Cyclones.
He made his major league debut pitching against the St. Louis Cardinals on April 1, 2007.
