Born José Giménez Zapiola, he is an actor, singer and musician who became a cast member on the Disney Channel Latin America series O11CE. He was also cast as Tommy on Nickelodeon's Kally's MashUp and he went on to star on the musical series Go! Live Your Way. In 2020, he began starring on the TNT miniseries Tunnel Vision.
He was part of a show called Chicos Lindos.
He has earned more than 1.5 million followers for his elpurre Instagram account where he primarily posts photos on the film set and videos of his musical performances. He was nominated for Favorite Actor at the 2020 Kids' Choice Awards México.
He is engaged to Malena Ratner. He previously dated fellow actress Lola Morán.
