For many years, her obsessive veganism and dedication to an uber-healthy diet led to a diagnosis of orthorexia, an eating disorder based on the obsession of eating "healthy." She eventually left veganism and began working on recovery.
Her The Balanced Blonde blog spawned a recipe app of the same name dedicated to providing delicious and healthy recipes to her fan base.
Her mother Jane has worked as a fashion consultant.
