Between his regular channel and his Spodermen channel, he has over 250,000 YouTube subscribers. His Spodermen channel has many more views than his JJDiscussions channel, though it was created second.
He is from Canada and has a sister and a brother; he has Instagrammed pictures of his nephew.
He became friends with fellow YouTuber Julien Solomita.
