Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu practitioner who won a gold medal in the black belt lightweight event at the 2013 World No-Gi Championship.
He won the 2008 World No-Gi Championship in brown belt lightweight fighting, before his promotion to black belt.
In 2011 he competed at the World Jiu-Jitsu Championships, and won a bronze medal in the black belt lightweight event.
He was born in New York, but made his career while living in California.
He is one of the most noteworthy American practitioners of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, along with stars such as Alan Belcher.
