Puerto Rican former baseball player nicknamed "The Kid" and "The Comeback Kid." He played for the San Francisco Giants, Kansas City Royals, Colorado Rockies and Pittsburgh Pirates.
After graduating high school in 2000, he pitched for four seasons at Ohio Dominican University in Columbus, Ohio.
In 2010, he was a member of the Giants team that won the World Series.
In 2011, he married Dominican model Audris Rijo.
He was the third Puerto Rican player to throw a no-hitter game in MLB, after John Candelaria and Juanchi Nieves.
