Jonathan Fast

The author of eight science fiction novels, he is known for works such as The Golden Fire (1986) and The Inner Circle (1979). Also a scholar, he published numerous articles on social work, school shootings, and the educational uses of technology.
He grew up in New York City and earned degrees from Princeton, Columbia, and Yeshiva University.
He held a professorship at Yeshiva University in New York.
His father, Howard Fast, wrote the bestselling novel, Spartacus. Jonathan Fast was married to fellow writer, Erica Jong, with whom he had a daughter named Molly.
His first wife, Erica Jong, wrote Fear of Flying.
