Singer and multi-instrumentalist who first rose to fame as a member of the Brazilian pop group P9. After the release of their self-titled debut album in 2013, he endeavored to pursue his solo career.
His first instrument was the tambourine followed by the guitar. Into fifth grade, he was a member of a samba band. Then, at sixteen, he began working as a model and performing in theatre.
In October 2013, the P9 single "My Favorite Girl" won Song of the Year at the Nick Awards.
He was born to José Renato and Fabiana Couto in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. He has a sister named Jennifer and a brother named Rafael.
In the early days of P9, he and the rest of his bandmates opened internationally for Justin Bieber.
