Shortstop Orlando Cabrera's older brother who played in the major leagues as well as in Mexico and Japan.
He made his big league debut with the Cleveland Indians in 1998, but only played in one game that season.
He was known to be an extremely versatile player, capable of playing many different positions.
He and his brother Orlando both played on the same team with the Montreal Expos Triple-A affiliate.
The Yankees great Roy White also spent time in the Japanese leagues, playing for the Tokyo Giants.
