Stuntwoman and motorcycle racer who was known as the first African-American woman to compete in AMA-sanctioned road racing events in 2014. In August 2017, she died while performing a stunt on the set of Deadpool 2.
She earned her Class M license in 2009. She subsequently earned her motorcycle racing license in May 2013.
She was earning her first film stunt experience at the time of her death on the set of Deadpool 2. She was serving as a double for Zazie Beetz's character Domino.
She was born and raised in the United States.
Her death was followed by a moment of silence on the Deadpool 2 set in the days immediately following, which was led by star Ryan Reynolds.
