Canadian darts champion widely considered to be the greatest North American darts player ever. He is a 3-time world champion, once for the British Darts Organization and twice for the Professional Darts Championship.
He was given a dartboard by his parents for Christmas in 1987.
His nickname is Darth Maple, a reference to his Canadian heritage and Star Wars.
He was born and raised in Toronto, Ontario.
He played darts for the first time in Barbados, home of music superstar Rihanna.
