John Anderson Fraser
Journalist
Quebec-born journalist, author, and scholar. He served as Chairman of the Canadian Journalism Foundation and Master of the University of Toronto's Massey College.
After working during his teen years as a reporter for the Toronto Telegram, he attended both the Memorial University of Newfoundland and the University of East Anglia.
He wrote columns for The National Post, The Toronto Star, and The Globe and Mail, among other prominent publications.
He and his wife Elizabeth MacCallum became parents to three daughters.
He was a high school classmate of Canadian publisher Conrad Black.
