Mack Leighty, better known by his pen name John Cheese, has gained significant attention as a writer and senior editor for Cracked.com. Many of his comedic articles have been featured on television shows like The View and featured on publications like Forbes.
He began writing short horror stories in high school. However, he didn't delve into comedy until he and his best friend David Wong launched the comedy website Pointless Waste of Time in 1997.
Before becoming a weekly columnist for Cracked, he wrote for a short time with AskMen.com.
He attended high school in Illinois and later lived in Newton.
Both he and Soren Bowie have established themselves as comedy writers on Cracked.
