Second baseman who was a key piece of the Tampa Bay Rays' World Series runner-up squad in 2020. He previously finished his 2018 rookie season for the club as their Outstanding Rookie winner.
He led West Chester University to a victory at the 2012 NCAA Division II Baseball Tournament. He was selected by the Cleveland Indians in the sixth round of that year's MLB Draft.
In 2018, he led all rookies in wins above replacement, batting average, on-base percentage, and triples while platooning for the Tampa Bay Rays. He finished fourth in the American League Rookie of the Year voting that same year.
His wife's name is Lindsey.
He played alongside Willy Adames for the Tampa Bay Rays during their 2020 World Series run.
