American country musician who has released songs including "Soul Song" in 1971 and "Red Wine and Blue Memories" in 1975.
He started out being the lead singer for the group The Uniques and in 1965 they released their first hit, "Not Too Long Ago."
He founded Critter Records in 2000.
His parents were R.C. Stampley, Jr. and Mary E. Stampley.
He recorded a cover of Carl Smith's song "Hey Moe, Hey Joe" with Moe Bandy.
