Former Gaelic football player who won four National League championships as well as two Ulster Senior Football championships. He later became a highly-respected Gaelic football coach and analyst.
He won the Ryan Cup as a college hurling player.
He led Derry to their first-ever All-Ireland Senior Football Championship in 1993.
His parents are musicians Francie and Anne Brolly.
He and Peter Canavan are both their Gaelic football players.
