Innovative concert musician who became Head of Piano at the Royal Academy of Music and owner of the SoundCircus label.
She attended the University of Cambridge, followed by the Royal Academy of Music for her postgraduate studies.
She was instrumental in premiering many important compositions by Hugh Wood, John Adams, Django Bates, and Jonathan Harvey.
She was homeschooled by her parents, along with her siblings, a brother and a sister, until she was awarded a free place at South Hampstead High School when she was 11.
Her interpretations and recordings of Johann Sebastian Bach's oeuvre garnered great acclaim.
