Professional pitcher that was signed by the Colorado Rockies as an international free agent in 2004. After being released by the New York Yankees in March 2021, he was then re-signed to the Rockies in April 2021.
He began his professional career playing within the Rockies' minor league system.
He made his major league debut pitching on July 25, 2009.
He is a native of Maracaibo, Venezuela.
He played alongside Carlos Gonzalez as a member of the Rockies during the 2012 MLB season.
