Swimmer who won back to back gold medals in the 4x100 meter medley at the 2004 and 2008 Olympics, as well as bronze in the 100 and 200 meter butterfly events in 2008.
She attended Pine Rivers State High School, where she made a name for herself as a dominant swimmer.
She has won numerous World Championships, and has held the short and long course 200 meter butterfly world record.
She was born in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia.
Her 2008 gold medal winning team narrowly defeated an American team led by Natalie Coughlin.
