Jessica Gadirova
Gymnast
Gold-winning Olympic gymnast best known for being a floor exercise champion and vault and all-around medalist. She won the gold medal at the 2021 European floor exercise championships representing Great Britain.
She started gymnastics at the age of six.
She competed alongside her twin sister Jennifer at the 2019 Junior World Championships.
Her parents are both from the Republic of Azerbaijan. She and her sister were born in Dublin while their parents working there for just a few months. As a result, she has both Irish and British citizenship.
She finished third during the 2021 all-around gymnast finals behind Angelina Melnikova and Viktoria Listunova.
