She began her dancing and gymnastics training when she was only two years old and started competitive dance when she was four.
She created a YouTube channel in 2012 and posted her first dance video, "Jessalyn's Hip Hop Improv," in November of that year. She is an activist against bullying/cyberbullying and has been featured in many magazines, including Starbound.
