Jerry Abramson

American Democratic politician who was elected Lieutenant Governor of Kentucky in 2011.
He attended Indiana University, Bloomington for his undergraduate degree and subsequently attended the Georgetown University Law School.
He served as mayor of Louisville, Kentucky from from 1986 to 1999, making him the longest serving mayor of Louisville up to that point in history.
He and his wife, Madeline, settled in the Crescent Hill area of Louisville.
He volunteered for the presidential campaign of Robert F. Kennedy when he was a student.
