British Formula One racing driver who was the 2009 Formula One World Champion. He signed with McLaren in 2010.
He did not pass his first driving test on account of being too close to a parked car.
He began kart racing at the age of eight.
He and his three sisters were raised by their mom in Frome, England after their parents divorced. He was previously engaged to singer Louise Griffiths until 2005. He was married to Jessica Michibata from 2014 to 2015. He is engaged to Brittny Ward and they have a son and a daughter.
He joined Lewis Hamilton on McLaren in 2010.
