Art dealer who became owner of the MLB's Florida/Miami Marlins. He also previously owned the Texas Rangers' AAA affiliate, the Oklahoma City 89ers.
He studied Art History at Yale University.
He opened his art dealing company, Jeffrey H. Loria & Co, in 1965.
He was born in New York City to Ruth Ost Loria and Walter J. Loria.
Early in his career, he worked for an art-buying organization that had been co-founded by film actor Vincent Price.
