Prior to landing his show on Logo, he worked with future series co-creator Cole Escola uploading comedy videos to YouTube.
He's written the books Fifty Shades of Gay, Straight People: A Spotters Guide, and Drag Teen.
He's openly gay. He's dated fellow actors Joel Creasey and Augustus Prew.
He appeared in an episode of 30 Rock as Randy Lemon, the cousin of Tina Fey's character Liz Lemon.
