Jean-Claude Duvalier

In 1971, at the age of 19, he became the 41st President of Haiti. He served until 1986 when an uprising bumped him from office. He was a ruthless tyrant who killed thousands of his own people and profited off of the drug trade while most Haitians lived in poverty.
He attended the University of Haiti and studied law.
His wedding was an estimated $3 million extravaganza. His office was benefited in its US relation during the Reagan Administration, due to his strong anti-communist stance.
He married Michèle Bennett Pasquet in 1980, and they had two children: Nicholas and Anya.
Due to his anti-communist stance he developed good relations with President Ronald Reagan, after his relations had previously suffered under Jimmy Carter's term.
